I have watched with pleasure as she and her sister Siri have impromptu races over our three acres. One time while running at full speed she was being crowded a little by Siri and was suddenly edged toward a 10 foot by 10 foot iris bed (Rimmed by large boulders and containing many hazardous metal "name" stake markers among the iris). While running at break neck speed Jozi just raised her body up and glided across the whole Iris bed touching the ground on the other side without breaking stride. It was the most powerful, beautifully executed move I have ever seen a basenji do. It took so much power and coordination yet she made it look like it was nothing. She is an excellent hunter being so extremely agile and light on her feet. Her bite is good with full dentition. She is extremely intelligent and quick to learn as she is very willing to please those she loves. She is a very concerned and wonderful mother. July 16, 2002
