Comments: From Veronica Tudor-Williams 1946 book: "Bashele was a very different type to Bongo, being longer and more racily built. He excelled in colour, fine coat and fine skin. His head was beautifully chiselled, with fine, profuse wrinkle, whilst his neck, shoulder and movement were extremely good. From memory I should fault him as being too long in back, with a low set, very poorly curled tail."
