AKC has agreed to allow the BCOA to recommend new Basenjis imported from Africa to be registered as Basenji Foundation Stock to improve the genetic diversity of Basenjis.  Learn more about the dogs who have been approved or who are under consideration at Native Stock Committee link.  Members do vote on approval of these dogs early each year so be sure to keep up with events here.
