African Stock Vote Recount
Dear Members,
Below you will find links to two documents that outline the results of the African Stock Vote by the membership, the original count and then the recount for just one dog.
The original count had such a small difference between passing and failing (0.1%) for one dog, that the Board of Directors requested that the count be re-done. The Board of Directors did consider several member requests regarding the recount, but due to both cost and expediency, it was determined that the chair would request two non-club members who were members of a local breed club to assist with the recount. Your patience is appreciated and we do understand the interest on this topic; as an organization that runs completely on volunteers it does sometimes take longer to work through everything than we might like. I truly appreciate all of the extra effort Kim Brown provided to get this wrapped up, this is a very important role and Kim was wonderful to work with throughout. Thanks also to the rest of the committee, there is no reflection on your original effort to provide the count in our request for a recount - we certainly also appreciate all of your time and effort.
