2015 BCOA NATIONAL SPECIALTY

In the 2013 January issue of The Bulletin Board Newsletter, the call for proposals for the 2016 National Specialty was inadvertently omitted.  Below is the call for bids for the 2016 National Specialty.  The 2015 National Specialty bid has already been accepted and approved by the Board of Directors and will be held October 26 - November 1 in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

2016 BCOA NATIONAL SPECIALTY

Time to Plan the 2016 National Specialty Show - The National Specialty Oversight Committee (NSOC) is requesting proposals to host the 2016 national specialty.  A host group may be a group of current BCOA members or a BCOA member club.  The 2016 specialty will be in the Western region that covers these states:  AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, MT, ND, NM, NV, OR, SD, UT, WA, WY.

The specialty guidelines and proposal information are online in the members section of the BCOA website.  If you would like assistance in planning and developing a proposal, contact the members of the National Specialty Oversight Committee, who are experienced basenji people willing to share their expertise in hosting this event.  Submit the proposed plan on the Specialty Site Proposal form. You can download this form or contact Jackie Jones (dragnquest@gotsky.com) to receive it in the MS Word format or as a hard copy through the postal service.

Deadline for proposals is April 1, 2013. Send proposals to the National Specialty Oversight Committee at the following address:
