	July 18, 2010	JUDGE CHANGE: We have to replace some judges for the ASFA and AKC JC test events. CJ Foxx has been replaced by Tari Parish for the ASFA Field Trial and is now also the 2nd AKC JC Test judge. The first AKC JC Test judge will be Frank Cassano, who is replacing Karla Schreiber.

	July 18, 2010	Video Presentation added ! James E Johannes will be presenting a video of his 2010 Congo Trip. It shows dogs along the Maringa & Lomako River and how the new imports were acquired from the town of Bokoli. The presentation will be held on Friday, Sept.3rd, from 5 to 7 p.m The video is about 1 hour and 40 minutes long; the two hour time slot will allow 20 minutes for questions after the video. The presentation will be held in the BCOA Annual Meeting room & is scheduled to finish just before the BCOA Annual Meeting.

	July 16, 2010	A FIRST for this year's Specialty! You've heard about it, you've read about it, and your friends are talking about it. Yes, Rally Relay! BCOA will offer this Rally class for the FIRST time at our National Specialty this year! Rally Relay is a team sport that is fun for old and young, basenjis and handlers. All you need is a basenji who can do novice Rally exercises on leash with you, and two friends with their basenjis, with a 4th pair ready and willing to be an alternate if needed to form the team. This is a strictly for fun, without the stress of racking up qualifying runs. You and your dog do 5 exercises, one of them in tandem with another team, and the handlers pass a baton. Please look on Page 13 of the Premium List to read ALL about the class. Also, information about the Rally Relay Class Entry fee is on Page 2 of the Premium List. And if you aren't entered, don't miss being at ringside for this very new, VERY exciting addition! It will be held after the regular rally classes, which are scheduled for Thursday, Sept 2 in the evening. Questions? Katy Scott

	July 14, 2010	Please join us for the Breeders Education Seminar, which will be presented by long-time breeder/judge and Chair of the Judges Education Committee, Marianne Klinkowski. Don’t miss this golden opportunity to hear the breed standard described as it is to judges and to follow up the presentation with an open discussion on related topics and issues. The Seminar will be held on Wednesday, Sept 1, 2010 from 4-6 PM in the Events Center at Island Grove Regional Park in Greeley CO. There will be a small attendance fee ($5) to cover room rental and your educational materials.

	June 4, 2010	Security Note: Island Grove is a public park. The official event window of the Basenji Club of America National Specialty is Tuesday evening August 31, 2010 until Monday morning September 6, 2010. During the official event window, overnight security will be present at the park.
