Junior Showmanship
The current tally, provided by Joel Brody, is online here and was gathered from AKC statistics. The usual source of our tally is BestJunior.com
a private not-for-profit web site providing AKC statistics for
the Junior Showmanship exhibitor and their parents. Their goal is to
help juniors connect with each other and express and exchange ideas.
It is their commitment to provide parents, Kennel Clubs and all
others interested with a reliable source of information.
In addition, they keep a comprehensive tally of competition
placements to produce an excellent tally of all children competing
in Junior Showmanship Competitions. Their
statistics
are compiled using the total number
of competitors defeated from 1-4 placements and Best Junior points
from the open & novice classes.
Every month, on or about the 15th, the site receives a Junior Showmanship report from the American Kennel Club. This report contains every kennel club that had a junior show entry with classes and placements listed for the past month. From this report they compile statistics on all children who compete in Junior Showmanship competitions. Please click HERE to visit BestJunior & check the youngsters competing with their Basenjis nationwide!
